Realizing we needed to reach folks who like spice both in their life and on their food, we wanted to create a sauce that would at least meet the need of one of those. While some fear anything that’s spicy or hot won’t have much flavor, our Kick’n Butt Sauce will give you the spiciness you’re looking for in a hot barbecue sauce, without sacrificing taste! Born from a passion and love of barbecue, Poppy’s Butt Shak was created to honor the memory of a dad, a granddad (Poppy) and a friend to anyone who knew or met him.
After tasting our Poppy’s Kick’n Butt Sauce, you’ll see that it does in fact, have the heat you’re looking for. With low-sodium sugar-based ketchup used as a primary ingredient, organic agave and other special ingredients, you’ll agree that while the name on the label says Kick’n, it could actually say something like “Hot and Spicy, (for food only, not meant to put spice in your life)!”
