While the name says “Original”, there is nothing ordinary about this sauce. Born from a passion and love of barbecue, Poppy’s Butt Shak was created to honor the memory of a dad, a granddad (Poppy) and a friend to anyone who knew or met him. Poppy was a sweet and dear person. And like Poppy, our Original Butt Sauce has a sweet and dear taste. “Sweet and dear” are used to describe someone or something loved, cherished, and possessing qualities that make them endearing.
After tasting our Original Butt Sauce, you’ll agree that it does in fact, have a sweet and dear taste. With low-sodium sugar-based ketchup used as a primary ingredient, organic agave and a couple of other organic ingredients, you will agree that while the name on the label says Original, it is certainly anything but ordinary!
