Momma Moose’s Fat Berry Jam was born from our love of cooking with jams. We’re always experimenting and turning our kitchen into a “science lab!” After a year or more of playing around with the recipe, it was done. Fat Momma Moose combines the most unthinkable herbs into what our customers call the Champaign bunch blueberry jam. The combinations of orange peel, lemongrass, rosehips, mints, and cinnamon created a deliciously unique blueberry where the ingredients speak to a certain flavor that is not at all what it tastes like.
This is a top seller for charcuterie boards. This jam takes my pies, tarts and cakes to the next level. Best of all, it is also a low-sugar-added jam. As a diabetic myself, this is always a factor when I’m developing new flavors. Having a wide variety of jams such as this puts everything you make over the top. The idea of cooking with jams to replace traditional means and use less sugar is always a goal.
