Our take on a mild, young Gouda, this cheese is aged for roughly 60 days before release. It has a dense and smooth texture that lends well to melting. The flavor starts with a tanginess that gives way to a sweet and buttery finish.

We wanted to create a cheese that consumers recognized. So many artisanal cheeses are hard for the general public to understand, especially since the American South doesn’t have much history with cheesemaking. Our Gouda is naturally rinded, making it super unique in the marketplace. We used to make batches of this cheese and selectively sell them to specific customers-then we realized there was a much broader market that was interested in a Gouda made in Georgia.

Hence the name, Georgia Gouda!
