Wholesome, Bold, Classic.
Beans are a staple of the South. In our case, we grew up eating black beans because of our Central American ancestry. We take slow-cooked beans, season them with sweet onions and a mix of mild, savory spices. We then mix these seasoned beans with a blend of fontina and mozzarella cheese for a delightfully gooey filling that gets folded into our buttery, flaky pastry.
One food that’s the perfect pairing:
Chimichurri
