It consists of a delicate laminated dough pastry, made from thin layers of butter and dough carefully worked to achieve a light, airy, and crispy texture. Inside, it contains two bars of dark chocolate that melt slightly as it bakes.
At Valley’s, we have reimagined it by making it gluten-free, using corn, tapioca, pea protein, psyllium, and xanthan gum as flours. The result is a pastry with the same flakiness, tenderness, and freshness as its traditional wheat-based counterpart. Additionally, we have added Nutella inside, which blends with the layers of pastry in every bite, making it even more special.
